People with dementia, both elderly and those younger than 65years need a great creak of support. We need as a region to come together to discuss the gaps in services especially respite for the person with the illness and their carers. Houses have to be sold to enter permanent care, group homes and respite homes and modified homes are needed with the support of an understanding real estate and property developers.
