We are fundraising for the incredible opportunity for the Birkdale kids to get to the Jamboree in January 2025. Given that it’s only held every four years, most Scouts only ever get one opportunity to go. The Australian Jamboree is an experience like no other. Every four years, more than ten thousand Scouts from right across Australia and the world meet together for an unforgettable ten day camp full of incredible activities, new challenges and endless opportunities to make friends for life. Scouts Queensland will host AJ2025 from 6-15 January 2025 at the Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park.
This support in our community will help to assist families whose children might otherwise be unable to afford the cost of such a great educational experience. Birkdale Scouts help our community in so many ways and the leaders give so much time to help these youth be prepared for the future. Highly recommend support.

This is a fantastic opportunity for our local scouts who will learn many important life skills while developing independence and community mindedness. Our scouts are often found helping out at community events such as assisting in the local church fete, participating in Bushcare, and engaging with our local nursing home residents.
